Job Description
We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Production Supervisor. Our client is a reputed organization in the Automotive Manufacturing sector seeking skilled and motivated professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily production operations.
- Ensure production targets are achieved safely.
- Monitor quality standards and reduce defects.
- Coordinate manpower and machine utilization.
- Maintain production reports and documentation.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams.
- Production Planning – Manage daily production schedules.
- Automotive Manufacturing – Experience in automotive production.
- Team Leadership – Supervise shop-floor employees.
- Quality Control – Maintain product quality standards.
- Lean Manufacturing – Improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- TPM knowledge
- SAP/ERP exposure
- Continuous Improvement techniques
Minimum 4+ years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry with experience supervising production operations.
Education- Minimum:
Diploma / B.E. Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering (typical) - Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree - Additional:
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma certification (preferred)
