Our client is a leading global marketing communications agency known for strategic excellence and innovation. They partner with world-class brands across diverse categories, delivering integrated digital, media, and creative solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

Role Summary

The Head of Digital Media will define and lead the agency’s digital media strategy, ensuring best-in-class planning, execution, and optimisation across paid, owned, and earned channels. This leader will be responsible for strengthening the agency’s digital media offering, driving performance for client portfolios, and mentoring a high-performing media team.
Extensive experience in global agency environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and own the digital media strategy across all client accounts, aligning with broader brand and business objectives.
  • Oversee planning, buying, optimisation, and measurement across:
    • Paid Social (Meta, Tik Tok, Linked In, X)
    • Programmatic Display and Video
    • Paid Search (Google, Bing)
    • Connected TV (CTV) and Addressable Media
    • Influencer and Performance-driven media channels
  • Partner effectively with strategy, creative, analytics, and tech teams to deliver integrated media solutions.
  • Drive media innovation by identifying and applying emerging technologies, platforms, and audience innovations.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships; act as the senior media lead on key global accounts.
  • Set and manage media budgets with accountability for efficiency and ROI.
  • Define KPIs and deliver measurable outcomes (brand lift, conversions, ROAS, etc.).
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of media planners, buyers, and specialists.
  • Ensure media best practices and compliance across digital operations.
  • 10+ years of digital media experience
    , with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles within global advertising or media agencies
    .
  • Demonstrated success leading digital media for multinational brands and global campaigns.
  • Proven ability to drive performance in complex media environments with cross-market requirements.
  • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem, including data analytics, audience segmentation, and attribution models.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing large media budgets.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills — both internal and client facing.
  • Strategic thinker with operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
  • Data-driven decision maker with an analytical mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative agency culture.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
