Business Communications Manager ME Region (SB/SP)

• Develop and implement local communication plans for 2 of 5 Divisions within the Electrification Business Area.
• Implement communication activities through all available tools according to group guidelines, directives, and messages within the approved budget.
• Build strong local stories and develop key content for targeted audiences, collaborating with marketing on promotional activities and using approved local digital platforms to reach audiences.
• Work collaboratively with various functions and communication teams to ensure proactive and effective communications across multiple channels and stakeholders.
• Work model is onsite, supporting the Electrification Business (Smart Power/Smart Building) in the ME Region.
• Work directly with the Global Business Communications Manager and regional Marketing and Sales leader to develop and implement the business communications plan.
• Propose and implement communications plans validated by the Marketing & Sales manager, aligned with growth plans and within approved budget.
• Support communications efforts, projects, and initiatives such as events, trade shows, conferences, and cross‑divisional initiatives.
• Partner to help with executive messaging locally for trade media, digital communications, and thought leadership.
• Assist with localization of global initiatives or campaigns.
• Support generating leads via advertising, sponsorship, and other promotional activities, using the internet as a hub for integrated marketing communications through Pardot and similar campaign tools.
• Develop creative concepts for all communications vehicles, per branding guidelines, with a strong writer/editor that adheres to ABB brand standards and guidelines.
• Own the business content on local social and digital channels for Smart Buildings and Smart Power solutions.
• Organize events and trade exhibitions to improve corporate image and support the business.
• Own messaging development for content specific to Smart Buildings and Smart Power locally aligned to the respective audiences.
• Manage the creation, production, and publication of brochures, catalogues, and other sales literature in printed or electronic form, to support sales activities and product launches.
• Collaborate with Country Communications and Division peers to help tell the ABB story.
• Maintain a positive and integrated network with internal and external communication communities to promote knowledge of current practices and innovation.

• Degree in Communications or related field and minimum 5 years of experience in Communications in a B2B and B2C environment (ideally technical/industrial).
• Proven experience supporting communication across all channels.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills; effective storyteller.
• Design experience:
  Adobe, Canva, etc.
• Campaign tool experience:
  Pardot, etc.
• Bilingual in Arabic & English.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with on‑time delivery.
• Experience measuring KPIs and reporting to track performance and learning.
• Team player who thrives by contributing to the success of the team and the business.
• Ability to travel and work flexible/frequent work hours as needed.
