Role Purpose
The Associate Brand Manager supports the development and execution of local brand marketing plans while coordinating marketing operations documentation and compliance processes. The role ensures all activities are delivered in line with internal policies, SFDA regulations and applicable industry standards. It bridges strategic planning with operational excellence, contributing to brand growth, market share objectives, audit readiness and effective cross‑functional collaboration across marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Brand Strategy & Tactical Plan Execution – Assist with developing and executing local brand marketing plans aligned with regional strategy and local objectives. Identify clear roles for delivery of local tactics, communicate responsibilities to stakeholders (field team, partners, agencies), track implementation, and ensure timely, effective execution. Monitor competitor activities and market trends, provide feedback to inform strategy, and report insights to the regional marketing team.
- Promotional Materials & SFDA Submissions – Review, approve and submit promotional and marketing materials through approved systems such as Veeva Vault. Coordinate localization and adaptation of global materials to meet local regulatory requirements. Prepare dossiers, track submission progress, collaborate with Regulatory and Medical Affairs teams, and ensure all materials meet compliance requirements. Maintain version control, audit‑ready documentation and report on effectiveness.
- Sales & Budget Support – Support the local team in achieving agreed sales targets for the franchise and country. Anticipate competitor strategy, develop counter‑plans and manage the promotional budget to deliver sales and profit targets. Handle marketing‑related P2P activities (vendor onboarding, PO creation, invoice validation, payment follow‑up), coordinate with Finance and Procurement to uphold internal controls, and monitor budget utilization.
- Digital Marketing & DTC – Build digital marketing capabilities and manage approvals for digital and social media activities prior to activation. Coordinate onboarding of agencies, influencers and third parties, ensuring contractual and documentation compliance. Maintain approval logs and monitoring records, and support basic understanding of digital marketing dynamics and social media regulations.
- KOL Engagement, Events & HCP Engagement – Manage local KOL development plans, congresses and new indication launches in alignment with the business plan and regional marketing strategy. Process documentation and approvals for events, congresses and HCP activities, maintain compliance with engagement and transfer‑of‑value requirements, and support post‑event audit readiness.
- Distributor & Cross‑Functional Coordination – Coordinate distributor‑related marketing activities, ensuring proper approval, execution and closure. Track timelines, deliverables and documentation, and maintain archives of all related records.
- Timely approval of marketing materials internally and through SFDA.
- Full audit readiness across marketing activities.
- Zero compliance issues from documentation gaps.
- Accurate and timely P2P execution and budget management.
- Effective execution of local brand marketing plan tactics and activities.
- Contribution to achievement of brand sales and market share objectives.
- Timely and effective KOL engagement and event execution.
- Complete traceability and documentation of marketing operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Science or a related field.
- Brand and strategic marketing thinking.
- 2‑4 years of marketing experience, with at least 1‑2 years in brand or product marketing, preferably within pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare or regulated industries.
- Experience limited to Saudi Nationals.
- Compliance and regulatory awareness.
- Familiarity with promotional review systems such as Veeva Vault.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Working knowledge of SFDA promotional submission processes and compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Experience in P2P coordination and cross‑functional stakeholder management.
- Cross‑functional collaboration and influencing skills.

- Strong analytical and financial skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
- Self‑starter; calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
