Social Media - Content Creator (Instagram​/tiktok​/X​/Twitter​/Linkedin

The EMEA social team is looking for a Social Media Creator based in Riyadh to support organic social content creation and social handles management across Saudi Arabia’s social handles as a critical piece to our new strategy and approach social to the Saudi market. This is an incredible opportunity to work closely within social team and our local Comms, Marketing, Ops and other Uber teams to invigorate and grow our local social media presence and audience in the market.

• Create organic social original video, graphics, captions and copy for posts on the local market Twitter, Instagram, and any other channels engages. Coordinate with other members of the social team on platform strategies.
• Manage the local social media accounts, including publishing content in a cadence that matches your market and global strategy.
• Work closely with Comms, Co-Marketing, Ops, Creative and Influencer/Talent for ideation, creation, and coordinated content, product, and initiative rollouts.
• Consult to various Campaign Teams in developing social-forward content supporting their Integrated Marketing Campaigns and helping those campaigns to come to life on the organic handles.
• Engage Community Management on behalf of the brand on owned channels and in cultural moments.
• Have a keen understanding of audiences, ensuring that content is engaging for existing and new audiences.
• Build and grow social accounts for engagement and performance.
• Ideate and launch social-first repeatable franchises that ladder into priorities and content pillars, taking ideas from conception to launch and beyond.
• Create a culture of experimentation, testing, and learning across platforms.
• Collect, analyze, and use relevant data to inform smart content choices to engage and grow audiences. Collaborate on regular social reporting and analytics for your market.

• Fluency in English speaking and writing. Fluency in Arabic speaking and writing.
• Agency-side social media experience, or Experience managing social media content within major consumer or tech brands. We are particularly looking for profiles with strong social-first instincts, hands-on content creation skills, and a solid understanding of platform-native content across Tik Tok and Instagram.
• Strong content creation skills, with an ability to nimbly tell and promote stories in an engaging social-endemic manner.
• 2-4 years of experience in social media content creation and execution.
• Professional-level experience with Canva and Capcut. Adobe Premiere video editing, After Effects, Photoshop and Final Cut experience is a plus. Ability to turn around edits quickly.
• A deep understanding or professional experience with social media platforms, including Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok.
• Experience with social video publication tools and in-app editing functionalities on Instagram, and tools like Sprinklr and Brand Watch.
• User-first orientation, with strong intuition and taste for what resonates at
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in building relationships with other creators, influencers and cross-functional leaders.
