We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Assistant to join our Marketing and Communications team, supporting activity across Maiden Erlegh Trust (MET) and our schools.
This is a busy and varied role across the full communications and marketing mix. You will support campaigns and projects from planning through to delivery, research and create content, contribute ideas and help deliver high-quality communications and marketing activity across MET.
It is a great opportunity for someone with strong writing and creative skills who is highly organised, curious and keen to learn and develop.
What You'll Be DoingWorking closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications and marketing team, you will:
- support communications and marketing campaigns and projects
- research, write, edit and proofread content for different audiences and channels
- contribute ideas and identify stories and content from across MET and its schools
- create and maintain website, social media and other digital content
- support recruitment marketing, print, events and promotional activity
- create and adapt marketing materials in line with our brand guidelines
- coordinate content, information, approvals and deadlines to keep activity on track
- provide practical and administrative support across the Communications and Marketing function.
You will be:
- an excellent communicator with strong writing and proofreading skills
- highly organised and conscientious, with excellent attention to detail
- creative and curious, with the confidence to contribute ideas, research information and ask questions
- proactive, reliable and adaptable
- professional and tactful, able to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels
- collaborative and willing to get involved and support others when needed
- confident using digital tools and keen to develop your skills across communications and marketing.
Relevant experience may have been gained through employment, an internship, volunteering or education. Experience of social media, websites or creating digital content would be an advantage, as would a relevant qualification in journalism, communications, marketing, media or a related subject.
