Senior Marketing Manager – Marketing

This role will lead the marketing strategy and brand positioning of a large-scale destination or real estate development, driving awareness, engagement, and commercial success across target audiences. The individual will develop and execute integrated campaigns across digital, PR, content, events, and partnerships, while working closely with commercial, development, and operational teams. They will also use market insights and performance data to optimize campaigns, support key launches and activations, and strengthen the destination's market presence and value proposition.

• Develop and execute comprehensive destination marketing strategies aligned with the organisation’s commercial objectives.
• Define and strengthen the destination’s positioning, brand proposition and market presence.
• Develop integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, content, PR, events and other relevant channels.
• Create compelling campaigns and narratives that communicate the destination’s identity, experiences and value proposition to target audiences.
• Identify priority customer and visitor segments and develop targeted strategies to reach and engage them.
• Manage destination campaigns from strategy and planning through execution and performance measurement.
• Work closely with internal commercial, development and operational teams to ensure marketing activity reflects the overall destination strategy.
• Collaborate with external agencies, strategic partners and relevant stakeholders to extend destination reach and visibility.
• Use market research, customer insights and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategy and campaign development.
• Monitor campaign effectiveness and marketing KPIs, using performance insights to continuously optimise activity.
• Support destination launches, activations, events and major commercial initiatives.
• Manage relevant marketing budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources across campaigns and channels.

• Strong experience in destination marketing or a closely related environment.
• Demonstrable experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Strong understanding of destination positioning, brand development and customer/visitor engagement.
• Experience managing multiple marketing channels, agencies and external partners.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to connect marketing strategy to wider business objectives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable operating in a complex environment involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.

• Reports to the Marketing Director within the Commercial Division.
