Role Purpose
To support the effective delivery of SSOF’s Relief, Assistance and Social Development (RASD) programs and initiatives, including the FAST Program and volunteering activities, through program coordination, research, monitoring, stakeholder engagement and documentation. The role coordinates assigned programs from initiation through implementation, monitors progress and budgets, supports partnerships and volunteers, and ensures compliance with SSOF policies and procedures.
Job Accountabilities & ActivitiesOperations
- Coordinate FAST Program activities and assigned RASD initiatives.
- Monitor program implementation, timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, onboarding and engagement.
- Coordinate meetings, actions and program follow-ups.
- Monitor volunteer submissions through the National Volunteering Platform (NVP).
- Escalate program issues, delays and exceptions.
Planning
- Support planning of RASD programs and special initiatives.
- Conduct research and needs assessments to support program planning.
- Support budget planning for assigned programs and initiatives.
Development
- Conduct research, field visits and data collection.
- Analyze sector developments, needs and opportunities.
- Identify potential projects and social impact opportunities.
- Support the design and development of new initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain relationships with NGOs, volunteers and program partners.
- Identify and engage potential partners.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings and communications.
- Support partnership arrangements and follow-up.
- Monitor partner commitments and deliverables.
Reporting
- Prepare periodic reports on programs, projects and volunteering activities.
- Monitor program progress and key issues.
- Track budget utilization and expenditure.
- Report budget variances and potential overruns.
Record Keeping
- Maintain partnership, research and financial documentation.
- Maintain the SSOF operational manual and program procedures.
- Maintain applicable NDAs, policy acknowledgments and supporting records.
Compliance & Governance
- Support adherence to SSOF policies and procedures.
- Coordinate policy acknowledgments and procedural updates.
- Identify and elevate compliance and documentation exceptions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Non-Profit Management or a related discipline.
Certifications
- Project Management, Program Management or Social Development certification/training is an advantage.
3–5 years of relevant professional experience in program coordination, social development, non-profit, community, volunteering or related fields.
