Public Affairs Lead Vaccines

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Hybrid; moderate travel.

As Public Affairs Lead Vaccines within our Vaccines team, you will drive patient and community engagement to advance vaccine confidence, disease prevention awareness, and equitable access across Saudi Arabia. You will build bridges between our science and the communities we serve, collaborate with stakeholders, and shape prevention strategies.

• Engage patient groups and civil‑society organizations related to vaccine‑preventable diseases, leading disease‑awareness campaigns for HPV, influenza, RSV, and other priority areas rooted in patient and caregiver insights.
• Support national immunization strategies through evidence‑based advocacy and stakeholder dialogue, monitoring policy trends including NITAG recommendations, immunization budgets, and access barriers.
• Build frameworks for community‑level listening and insights generation to ensure patient and community perspectives enrich Vaccines brand planning and reputation strategy.
• Co‑develop multistakeholder partnerships addressing vaccine confidence, health‑literacy, and digital immunization engagement with health authorities, NGOs, vaccine alliances, and public‑health groups.
• Lead partnerships with scientific societies in pediatrics, infectious disease, and public health to advance vaccination agendas and disease‑prevention awareness.
• Work closely with Medical, External Affairs, Market Access, and Communications teams to ensure aligned messages and risk‑managed activities across all vaccine‑related initiatives.
• Advise on environment‑shaping actions based on policy trend analysis and stakeholder feedback to support Sanofi’s position as a trusted public‑health partner.
• Drive public awareness campaigns that enhance vaccine confidence and support equitable access to immunization across diverse communities in Saudi Arabia.

• 5+ years of experience in vaccines, public health, public affairs, or community‑health organizations with demonstrated impact in patient advocacy and community engagement.
• Experience with immunization programs, public‑health partnerships, or disease‑prevention campaigns, preferably in the Saudi Arabian or broader Middle East context.
• Strong understanding of the local vaccination ecosystem and policy landscape, including familiarity with national immunization strategies and stakeholder networks.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required for effective stakeholder engagement across diverse communities.
• Experienced level competencies in Healthcare Policies, Patient Advocacy, Launch Strategy, Strategic Insights, and Foster Innovation.
• Strong Partnership Development, Crisis Management, and Public Awareness Campaign capabilities.
• Excellent Business Acumen, Communication skills, and Stakeholder Relationship Management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Communications, Public Policy, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Passion for public health and demonstrated commitment to improving patient outcomes through community engagement and advocacy.
