Job Overview

Parsons Corporation invites an experienced safety, health, and environmental professional to lead SH&E compliance support, site inspections, audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, safety training, and corrective action programs for major infrastructure and construction projects in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise project and program management teams on implementing and maintaining Safety, Health, and Environmental programs in line with corporate, regulatory, and client requirements.
  • Guide project personnel on compliance with Parsons Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk program management system, policies, procedures, and site safety expectations.
  • Conduct audits of projects and worksites to verify compliance with corporate SH&E standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Perform site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts and conditions, environmental concerns, and compliance gaps.
  • Recommend practical corrective and preventive actions to eliminate hazards or reduce associated risks.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, inspection reports, compliance assessments, and recommendations for management review.
  • Implement occupational injury reporting, incident management, notification, investigation, and follow‑up processes in accordance with company requirements.
  • Lead incident investigations and conduct root cause analyses using recognized and defensible investigation methodologies.
  • Work with project teams, supervisors, contractors, and workforce personnel to identify causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Prepare comprehensive investigation reports and communicate lessons learned to support awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze audit trends, inspection findings, incident data, safety observations, and recurring issues to support management decision‑making.
  • Represent Parsons during external regulatory inspections, client reviews, loss control assessments, and safety compliance discussions.
  • Act as the representative of the SH&E Manager or Director on project sites when required.
  • Promote active participation from project personnel in identifying safety improvements, reporting concerns, and implementing best practices.
  • Support risk assessments and provide SH&E subject matter expertise during work planning, method review, and execution activities.
  • Assist with new employee safety orientation, onboarding programs, site inductions, and project‑specific awareness sessions.
  • Deliver regulatory compliance training and SH&E best practice training programs.
  • Maintain accurate SH&E training records, compliance files, investigation documentation, audit evidence, and corrective action registers.
  • Participate in routine safety briefings, toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and workforce engagement activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Safety Specialists and project personnel.
  • Support continuous improvement of safety performance through field coaching, trend analysis, follow‑up actions, and disciplined reporting.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related discipline.
  • Equivalent practical experience may be considered where appropriate.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental or SH&E roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of health and safety regulations, compliance requirements, reporting procedures, and construction safety controls.
  • Strong understanding of safety‑related industry standards and best practices, including ANSI, NFPA, and similar standards.
  • Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
  • Experience supporting risk assessments and implementing corrective and preventive action programs.
  • Experience on major infrastructure, transportation, rail, or construction projects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of risk management systems and occupational safety management frameworks is advantageous.
