Position Overview:

Parsons is seeking a Health and Safety Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to support the administration of Safety, Health, and Environment programs across a key project or program. The role will focus on workplace inspections, compliance audits, hazard identification, risk controls, incident management, performance monitoring, safety training, and implementation of established SH and E requirements. Working closely with project and program management and site personnel, the Health and Safety Manager will verify that work planning and execution conform to the Parsons Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program management system while providing practical guidance to eliminate or control workplace hazards.

• Assist the Project or Program Manager with administration of SH and E programs.
• Audit project activities and worksites against applicable corporate standards.
• Conduct worksite inspections to identify hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Provide technical guidance to project personnel on eliminating or controlling SH and E risks associated with identified hazards.
• Prepare and submit written audit and inspection reports.
• Monitor project or program work planning and performance.
• Verify that planning activities and work execution conform to the Parsons Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program management system.
• Implement Parsons occupational injury and incident reporting processes.
• Support established incident management requirements and follow-up activities.
• Participate in routine safe work briefings.

The Health and Safety Manager will provide active site-level oversight through structured audits, inspections, and risk reviews. Findings will be documented and communicated so that identified hazards and compliance concerns can be addressed through appropriate preventive and corrective measures.

The role requires regular interaction with project personnel to promote safe working practices and ensure SH and E considerations remain integrated into work planning and site execution.

• Monitor occupational injury and incident information in accordance with established Parsons processes.
• Analyze trends identified through project audits.
• Review recurring findings arising from worksite inspections.
• Analyze incident reports to identify patterns and areas requiring attention.
• Prepare and submit regular analysis reports based on audit, inspection, and incident data.
• Provide safety information that supports project management decisions and risk controls.

• Deliver regulatory and best-practice SH and E training.
• Maintain accurate SH and E training records.
• Support workforce awareness of applicable safety requirements and working practices.
• Participate in routine safety briefings with project personnel.
• Reinforce appropriate hazard controls and safe work expectations through training and communication.

• Bachelor 's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• NEBOSH certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of applicable SH and E regulations and reporting procedures.
• Practical experience with workplace inspections and safety audits.
• Ability to identify hazards and support appropriate risk-control measures.
• Understanding of occupational injury and incident reporting processes.
• Ability to analyze audit, inspection, and incident trends.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal capabilities for working with project management and site personnel.
