The Quality Officer is responsible for ensuring that raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods comply with established quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role supports production operations, ensures adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and drives continuous quality improvement across the organization.

Primary

Duties & Responsibilities : 1. Quality Control of Raw Materials and Finished Products
  • Inspect, test, and verify the purity, safety, and compliance of essential oils, alcohols, and other raw materials.
  • Ensure finished products meet approved quality and safety specifications.
2. Barcode, Batch Consistency & Testing
  • Monitor and verify batch consistency, including color, clarity, and scent profile, to ensure alignment with approved product specifications.
  • Ensure products have correct and consistent barcodes registered with GS1
    .
  • Verify product registration and compliance with SFDA requirements.
3. Production Oversight
  • Supervise blending, filling, and packaging processes to prevent contamination, deviations, or non-conformities.
  • Ensure production activities align with approved procedures and quality standards.
4. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Implement, monitor, and ensure compliance with GMP across all production lines.
  • Support GMP audits and continuous compliance initiatives.
5. Documentation & Audit Support
  • Maintain, review, and control quality documentation required for internal and external audits and certifications.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and traceability.
  • Record, analyze, and trend internal and customer feedback.
  • Support formulation and process improvements based on data analysis.
  • Investigate product complaints and deviations.
  • Document findings and recommend corrective actions.
8. Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
  • Coordinate, implement, and follow up on corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Verify effectiveness of implemented actions.
9. Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, deviations, and non-conformities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
10. Quality Reporting
  • Prepare and submit quality reports to management and relevant regulatory authorities.
11. Quality Improvement Initiatives
  • Lead or participate in initiatives aimed at improving product quality, process efficiency, and waste reduction.
12. Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform any other quality-related tasks assigned by the Quality Manager within the scope of the Quality Department.
