Desktop Quality Controller

The role is responsible for conducting desktop-based quality review activities through collecting, organizing, reviewing, classifying, and analyzing data submitted by audit firms. The position focuses on identifying non-compliance with professional standards and relevant regulations, supporting audit quality oversight, and ensuring timely completion of inspection activities in line with approved procedures.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Data Collection & Review

• Review inspection plans related to audit firms, including required documents, data requirements, timelines, and submission mechanisms.
• Follow up and collect data from audit firms to assess compliance with professional standards and applicable regulations.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of submitted data to facilitate effective desktop inspections.

Data Assessment & Analysis

• Review and examine data received from audit firms and share observations with the section head to determine next steps.
• Review additional data or clarifications submitted by audit firms when required.
• Analyze compliance results and identify areas of non-compliance.
• Ensure completion of desktop inspection activities within approved timelines and procedures.
• Contribute to improving data collection tools, templates, and processes.

Daily Operations & Compliance

• Perform daily operational tasks related to the role to ensure continuity of work.
• Adhere to approved policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure protection of organizational and audit firm data.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
