Job Brief: A chemical industry organization is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive to support quality control, logistics coordination, inspection processes, and technical quality functions across inbound and outbound operations. The role involves ensuring materials meet quality standards, coordinating inspections with suppliers and third-party warehouses, maintaining proper documentation, and supporting technical and R&D functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining compliance, product integrity, and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities Quality Assurance & Quality Control- Coordinate logistics, QC, and operations for inbound material inspections and prepare inspection reports.
- Set packaging standards in coordination with the procurement team to meet global requirements.
- Ensure inbound materials pass quality control checks and are ready for shipment.
- Conduct pre‑loading inspections at third‑party warehouses.
- Prepare Quality Assurance Reports (QAR) and Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) for out‑of‑specification products.
- Monitor inventory aging and coordinate shelf‑life revalidation where required.
- Participate in bulk loading at third‑party and supplier sites to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Investigate NCR cases with the technical team and submit detailed reports.
- Periodically inspect production operations to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist the Senior Chemist in Research & Development (R&D), Technical Service, complaint handling, quality control, revalidation, and related quality activities.
- Train team members on ERP matching procedures and report any discrepancies.
- Inspect incoming consignments based on supplier grade and specifications.
- Coordinate quality control sampling and update ERP for relabelling where required.
- Verify that loading matches the corresponding sales orders and ensure materials are handled properly to prevent damage.
- Supervise relabelling activities and ensure process accuracy and compliance.
- Resolve process‑related issues and coordinate inspections where necessary.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Chemical Operations, or related functions is preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems and inspection procedures is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and inspection processes.
- Ability to prepare reports such as QAR and NCR.
- Good coordination skills with internal teams, suppliers, and third‑party warehouses.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple quality‑related tasks.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
