Responsibilities
- Ensure all surface preparation activities meet stringent project specifications and industry standards before coating application
- Review and approve coating materials ensuring compliance with project requirements and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records documenting all activities, observations, and test results for traceability and reporting
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a technical field is advantageous
- Hold recognized certifications such as NACE CIP Level II or equivalent, demonstrating core competency
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience inspecting coatings on storage tanks in industrial environments
- Familiarity with various coating types, application methods, and failure analysis techniques
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, ensuring accurate data collection
