Senior QA​/QC Manager

The project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high‑calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

• Manage development and implementation of the project quality management strategy.
• Review design documentation to ensure buildability, compliance with specifications identification and mitigation of quality risks.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability workshops, and risk assessments.
• Ensure quality requirements are embedded into procurement strategies, methodologies and sequencing and Inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Act as the primary QA/QC oversight lead during site mobilisation and construction.
• Undertake regular site inspections, audits, and surveillance activities to monitor compliance.
• Monitor installation quality across all disciplines (CSA, MEP, fit‑out).
• Identify quality issues, non‑compliance, and trends, ensuring timely correction and escalation.
• Provide independent monitoring of Contractor QA/QC systems and processes.
• Provide clear and accurate weekly and monthly quality reports to project leadership.
• Highlight key risks, recurring issues, and improvement areas.
• Promote a collaborative and solutions‑focused approach to quality management.
• Ensure alignment between design intent and site delivery standards.

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Professional quality certification (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in QA/QC roles on major construction projects.
• Proven experience across Design and build, preconstruction & construction phases on commercial, mixed use or large-scale development projects.
• Experience with in delivery partner / PMC environments preferred.
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
