Quality Engineering Lead
We are looking for a Software Quality Engineering Lead who is passionate about building quality from the early stages with a Shift‑Left approach and driving automation‑first testing strategies using modern technologies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in embedding quality practices across the SDLC, ensuring high‑quality releases through robust automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
Responsibilities- Lead and implement Shift‑Left testing practices across all development phases.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and Dev Ops teams to ensure quality is built‑in, not tested later.
- Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Perform API, UI, and integration testing using modern tools.
- Analyze test results, identify defects early, and ensure fast feedback loops.
- Drive test data management and environment readiness.
- Contribute to quality metrics reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- 2–4 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
- Strong experience in test automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
- Solid understanding of Shift‑Left testing principles.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops).
- Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
- Good knowledge of programming/scripting (Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- SQL proficiency and familiarity with APIs and Postman.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to participate in penetration testing using Burp Suite or similar tools.
- Familiarity with OWASP standards and security best practices.
- Experience in performance testing (JMeter, k6).
- Knowledge of security testing and penetration testing techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Oracle, Azure).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
