Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor project QA QC plans in accordance with project specifications and company standards
- Review method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), material submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Identify quality issues, issue NCRs Non-Conformance Reports, and monitor corrective and preventive actions until closure
- Ensure all construction activities comply with contract specifications, local regulations, and applicable international standards
- Coordinate material inspections, testing activities, and third‑party laboratory approvals
- Prepare QA QC reports, quality documentation, and project handover records
- Lead and mentor QA QC engineers and inspectors while promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement
- Participate in internal and external quality audits and support project close‑out activities
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of QA/QC experience in large-scale construction projects
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, inspection procedures, and construction standards
- Experience reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, ITPs, and method statements
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality documentation
- Strong communication, reporting, and problem‑solving skills
- Professional certifications (ISO Lead Auditor, CQE, etc.) are an advantage
