Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the QA team while promoting quality standards and best practices.
  • Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and testing methodologies.
  • Review business and technical requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Build, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks.
  • Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, System, Smoke, API, Performance, and UAT support testing.
  • Collaborate with Development, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Dev Ops teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Identify, track, prioritize, and verify software defects until closure.
  • Analyze root causes of defects and recommend preventive actions.
  • Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
  • Generate QA metrics, dashboards, and quality reports for management.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning.
  • Support CI/CD implementation and testing automation within deployment pipelines.
  • Continuously improve testing efficiency through automation and process optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and security requirements.
Technical Requirements
  • Strong experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
  • Experience using JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, or similar ALM tools.
  • Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines:
    Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or similar.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of hands‑on technical QA experience.
  • Previous experience leading QA activities or mentoring QA engineers.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced Agile environment.
