Quality Control, Senior Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Perform and oversee quality inspections and testing according to established standards, work instructions, and relevant specifications.

Review batch production records to ensure compliance with quality procedures.

Identify, investigate, and document quality deviations, non-conformities (NCs), and coordinate corrective actions.

Conduct root cause analysis using methods such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and support CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).

Ensure proper use and calibration status of measuring instruments and test equipment as applicable.

Monitor product quality trends and report findings to management.

Maintain accurate and timely quality documentation, including checklists, inspection reports, test records, and QA logs.

Support internal and external audits by preparing documents and ensuring readiness for audit requirements.

Collaborate with production operations to improve process capability and reduce defects/rework.

Train and guide junior QC team members on quality processes, inspection methods, and reporting.

4-7 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance / Inspection roles (industry-specific).

Strong understanding of quality standards, inspection methods, and documentation practices.

Knowledge of CAPA, root cause analysis, and quality tools such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa/Fishbone, and Pareto.

Good attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and work instructions strictly.
