Role ContextAviation projects require consistent standards across numerous contractors, disciplines, systems, and work locations. Audits reveal where processes are not functioning as intended, while targeted training gives teams the knowledge needed to prevent recurring issues. The Quality Auditor will connect these two activities by converting audit findings and performance trends into practical learning and improvement actions. Reliable records and timely corrective-action follow-up will also strengthen project governance and handover readiness.
Key Responsibilities- Develop audit programs covering design, construction, quality, compliance, and operational readiness.
- Prepare risk-based audit plans, schedules, checklists, criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct internal and external audits involving project teams, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Verify compliance with project procedures, Quality Management Plans, HSE requirements, contracts, and client expectations.
- Assess conformity with applicable international management-system standards.
- Document findings, observations, strengths, and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions through implementation and verified closure.
- Audit airport terminals, runways, taxiways, cargo aprons, and aircraft stands.
- Review compliance across external infrastructure, utilities, MEP, ICT, and specialist airport systems.
- Examine contractor implementation of Inspection and Test Plans.
- Review approved method statements, work procedures, inspection records, and quality documentation.
- Identify non-compliance, process weaknesses, recurring issues, and operational risks.
- Support root-cause analysis and the development of effective corrective measures.
- Determine training needs using project risks, audit results, performance gaps, and business objectives.
- Develop annual and short-term training plans and schedules.
- Prepare learning materials, presentations, exercises, assessments, and facilitator guidance.
- Deliver training on quality systems, project procedures, construction compliance, and auditing.
- Conduct sessions covering documentation, HSE awareness, and continuous-improvement practices.
- Facilitate classroom, workshop, and site-based learning.
- Coordinate training delivery with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Evaluate participant understanding and measure training effectiveness.
- Maintain attendance records, competency assessments, completion reports, and supporting evidence.
- Develop and update competency matrices for relevant project personnel.
- Monitor mandatory-training compliance and report overdue requirements.
- Recommend improvements based on participant results and observed workplace performance.
- Analyze audit trends, quality data, non-conformances, and recurring process failures.
- Prepare lessons-learned reports and practical improvement recommendations.
- Promote effective practices across engineering, construction, quality, and operations teams.
- Support knowledge sharing between project packages and stakeholders.
- Maintain audit records, compliance reports, training documents, and action trackers.
- Prepare dashboards and performance summaries for project leadership.
- Ensure documentation follows project document-control requirements.
- Support quality, completion, and handover-record preparation.
- Participate in quality meetings, audit reviews, and improvement workshops.
- Monitor overall compliance performance and recommend governance improvements.
- Support readiness assessments before completion and operational handover.
- Audit quality records, training evidence, procedures, asset documentation, and operational requirements.
- Support the transition from construction delivery to airport operations.
- Confirm completion of lessons-learned and knowledge-transfer activities.
- Bachelor 's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum eight years of experience in auditing, quality assurance, compliance management, or professional training.
- Experience supporting airport, infrastructure, transportation, or large construction developments.
- Proven ability to audit contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
- Experience developing and delivering structured training programs.
- Background within delivery-partner, project-management consultancy, EPC, or client-side environments.
- Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and compliance-assessment techniques.
