Regulatory Compliance Specialist
The HSE Manager will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining health safety and environmental policies procedures and compliance programs to ensure a safe and legally compliant workplace He will oversee risk assessments incident investigations safety audits training initiatives and regulatory compliance while promoting a strong safety culture across the organization He will work closely with senior management and operational teams to minimize workplace risks drive continuous improvement and ensure adherence to local and international HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop implement and maintain the organization s Health Safety and Environment HSE management system
- Ensure compliance with local regulations international standards and company HSE policies
- Conduct risk assessments hazard identification and implement effective control measures
- Plan and conduct regular safety inspections audits and workplace assessments
- Develop and deliver HSE training toolbox talks and awareness programs for employees and contractors
- Monitor HSE performance through KPIs and prepare reports for senior management
- Ensure emergency response plans evacuation procedures and crisis management protocols are established and regularly tested
- Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across all operations
- Liaise with regulatory authorities clients and external auditors on HSE-related matters
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10 15 years of HSE experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Currently based in Riyadh, KSA Professional certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma/IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent are highly preferred. Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, risk management, incident investigation, and environmental compliance.
Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems. Proven leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong communication, presentation, and training skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting systems. Fluent in English;
Arabic is an advantage.
