Job Description ## About the RoleBEC Arabia is seeking a highly skilled
** QA/QC - Civil Engineer
** to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. This role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our civil engineering projects, which include government mega-projects, commercial developments, and infrastructure initiatives aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. As part of the QA & QC Department, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and monitor quality assurance and control processes that meet both client and regulatory  this role, you will oversee quality inspections, ensure adherence to project specifications, and maintain compliance with the
** Saudi Building Code (SBC)
** and other relevant standards. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies to enhance project outcomes. Your day-to-day activities will include conducting site inspections, preparing quality documentation, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and ensuring compliance with

Key Responsibilities
* ** Develop
* * and implement project-specific QA/QC plans in alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards.
* ** Conduct
* * regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes.
* ** Monitor
* * construction activities to identify and address quality issues proactively.
* ** Ensure
* * adherence to the
** Saudi Building Code (SBC)
** and other relevant standards.
* ** Prepare
* * and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and non-conformance reports.
* ** Coordinate
* * with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues.
* ** Review
* * and approve material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings for compliance.
* ** Implement
* * and monitor
** ISO 9001
** quality management systems across assigned projects.
* ** Conduct
* * root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for non-conformances.
* ** Train
* * project teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
* ** Support
* * internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
* ** Promote
* * a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all project phases.##

Required Qualifications
* ** Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
** or a related field.
* Minimum of
** 5 years of experience
** in QA/QC roles within the construction or civil engineering industry.
* Registration with the
** Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)**.
* In-depth knowledge of
** Saudi Building Code (SBC)
** and
** ISO 9001
** standards.
* Proficiency in quality management tools and software, such as
** Primavera P6**,
** AutoCAD Civil 3D**, and
** MS Office Suite**.
* Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and testing procedures.
* Familiarity with
** NEBOSH
* * or equivalent safety certifications.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.##

Preferred Qualifications
* ** Master’s degree
** in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Certification as a
** Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
** or equivalent.
* Experience working on
** Saudi Vision 2030
** giga-projects.
* Knowledge of
