Job Summary
Responsible for performing QC inspection activities at pipe manufacturing mills, ensuring manufacturing, welding, NDT, and quality processes comply with approved project specifications, codes, standards, procedures, and quality requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities- Conduct QC inspection activities throughout pipe manufacturing and production.
- Monitor manufacturing, welding, NDT, and dimensional inspection activities.
- Ensure compliance with approved procedures, project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Review and verify manufacturing, welding, NDT, inspection, and quality documentation.
- Identify quality deviations and support corrective actions as required.
- Coordinate with mill production and quality teams to ensure inspection requirements are met.
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Degree holders:
Minimum 4 years relevant experience. - Diploma holders:
Minimum 8 years relevant experience. - CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI Certified Welding Inspector.
- ASNT Level II in RT, PT, UT & MT.
- QC inspection experience in a Pipe Manufacturing Mill.
- Preferred experience with Jindal, Welspun, Mann, Arcelor Mittal, JESCO, SSPC, Tenaris, Global Pipe, or equivalent pipe manufacturing mills.
- QM
Qualifications:
QM05 & QM41. - Valid Saudi driving licence preferred; GCC driving licence is an advantage.
