Job Summary
Responsible for performing Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) vendor inspection and quality surveillance for Oil & Gas construction projects, ensuring electrical installations, instrumentation, calibration, and inspection activities comply with approved specifications, codes, standards, and quality requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities- Conduct E&I vendor inspection activities for Oil & Gas construction projects.
- Inspect high-voltage electrical installations, switch gear, electrical drives, and hazardous area installations.
- Monitor electrical and instrumentation installation activities for compliance with approved requirements.
- Inspect and verify instrument calibration for ultrasonic flow meters, level, temperature, pressure transmitters, and other process instrumentation.
- Review E&I inspection, testing, calibration, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable BS, IEC, ISO, API, ATEX, EEMUA, and client standards.
- Monitor adherence to construction standards, quality requirements, health & safety regulations, and applicable legislation.
- Identify quality deviations and support corrective actions as required.
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a comparable E&I inspection role.
- Mandatory Oil & Gas construction project experience.
- Experience in HV electrical installations, switch gear, electrical drives, and hazardous area installations.
- Experience in calibration/inspection of flow, level, temperature, pressure, and process instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation inspection requirements.
- Working knowledge of BS, IEC, ISO, API, ATEX, EEMUA, and client-specific codes and standards.
- Knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice, applicable E&I regulations, HSE requirements, and quality inspection procedures.
- QM

QM-01, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 36, 46, 48, QM-02 & 39.
