The Quality Assurance Manager leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems across all operational or software life cycles. This role ensures that products, processes, and systems meet customer expectations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce comprehensive Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with ISO standards, industry regulations, and company benchmarks.
  • Design inspection protocols, testing plans, and regular internal audits to identify defects, process deviations, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Supervise, mentor, and resource QA teams (engineers, analysts, inspectors), establishing performance KPIs and testing best practices.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations for customer complaints or critical defects; formulate and track corrective and preventive actions.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Support to align quality gates with release schedules and product roadmaps.
  • Define and track core quality metrics (e.g., Defect Density, First-Pass Yield, Mean Time Between Failures, Customer Return Rate) and report trends to executive leadership.
  • Evaluate third‑party vendor quality standards, incoming materials, or outsourced deliverables to ensure end‑to‑end compliance.
  • Provide technical support for the department’s events and technical competitions, and participate in project evaluation and judging when required.
  • Document designs, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOM) in accordance with engineering best practices and standards.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Operations, or related field.
  • 7+ years in Quality Assurance/Control, with at least 3–4 years in a managerial or team lead role.
  • Proficiency in QMS/ERP software, test management tools (Jira, Test Rail for software), and data analytics tools.
  • Strong leadership, analytical problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and clear technical communication.
