CIB MARS is seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspection Engineer specializing in Amusement Rides & Devices for our Third-Party Inspection operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
.

This position is specifically for candidates with direct inspection experience in amusement rides, amusement devices, theme park equipment, and related recreational equipment
. General HSE, maintenance, or unrelated inspection experience alone will not meet the requirement.

• Associated structures, machinery, restraints and safety devices

• Conduct inspections of new and in-service amusement rides and devices in accordance with approved inspection procedures, applicable standards, manufacturer requirements and relevant Saudi requirements.
• Review technical drawings, equipment manuals, maintenance records, previous inspection reports and testing documentation.
• Inspect structural components, mechanical assemblies, anchorage, restraints, guarding, interlocks, emergency stops and other applicable safety systems.
• Perform or witness functional checks and specified tests within the authorized inspection scope.
• Identify defects, unsafe conditions and nonconformities and document findings with appropriate technical evidence.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and supporting certification documentation.
• Conduct follow-up inspections and verify corrective actions where required.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, equipment traceability and calibration status of applicable inspection instruments.
• Maintain impartiality, confidentiality and professional judgment during all third-party inspection activities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 3-5 years of directly relevant inspection experience involving amusement rides, amusement devices, theme park attractions or similar recreational equipment.
• Candidate must currently be in Saudi Arabia with a Transferable Iqama
  .
• Must be available for immediate joining
  .
• Strong knowledge of amusement ride inspection methods, safety requirements and applicable international standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, manufacturer instructions, inspection criteria and test results.
• Strong technical inspection reporting and communication skills.

Candidates with a valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership/registration will be strongly preferred

Candidates should have practical knowledge of applicable amusement and recreational equipment inspection standards, as relevant to their demonstrated competence and assigned inspection scope, including standards such as:

BS EN 13814, ISO 17842, ASTM F2974, ASTM F770, ASTM F1193, BS EN 1176, BS EN 1177, BS EN 14960, ASTM F2374, BS EN 1069, BS EN 15567, BS EN 12572, ASTM F2970 and ISO 23659.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate actual application of relevant standards during inspections
, not simply familiarity with standard numbers.

• Direct third-party amusement ride inspection experience
• KSA/GCC inspection experience
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership
• Experience with an accredited inspection body
• Relevant amusement ride inspection training/certifications
• Experience with witnessed inspections, technical assessments or inspection-body audits
• Immediate availability
