To manage the quality function at the WETICO Manufacturing Plant, covering inspection, testing, process control, and product conformity across skid manufacturing projects. The role owns the plant quality management system, leads the factory QC team, drives NCR and CAPA closure, and safeguards product integrity, client confidence, and on-time delivery of fully compliant products.
Key Responsibilities:1
- Plant Quality Management and Team Leadership:
Own and maintain the plant quality management system aligned with ISO 9001 and client requirements. Lead, assign, and mentor the factory QC team (quality engineers and inspectors) across electrical, mechanical, and welding scope, and set inspection and test planning for manufacturing projects.
2- Inspection, IFAT/FAT, and Client Coordination:
Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection, IFAT and FAT, and product conformity across skid manufacturing. Facilitate pre-inspection meetings (PIM), manage client and third-party (SAVID/TPI) coordination, hold and witness inspections, and inspection release.
3- Nonconformance, CAPA, and Process Control:
Own NCR management, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) closure at the plant. Drive process control, supplier and incoming material quality, and coordination with production, design, procurement, and PMT.
4- KPI, Documentation, Compliance, and Improvement:Consolidate plant quality KPIs and MDR dossier completeness, and report quality performance to the Quality Director. Monitor compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant standards, support audits, and drive continual improvement across the plant.
Necessary Knowledge andExperience:
Minimum 10 to 12 years in manufacturing quality, with at least 5 years managing a factory QC function in modular fabrication, oil and gas, or industrial manufacturing. Proven experience with IFAT/FAT, client and SAVID/TPI regimes, and leading QC teams.
Education and CertificationMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related). ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification. Welding or NDE inspection certification (CSWIP, AWS) an advantage.
