Adwan Chemical Industries Company (ACIC) is a leading industrial minerals and inorganic chemicals company headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with operations in Saudi Arabia, Algeria, and Syria. Our product portfolio includes a range of sand products, cristobalite, and chemicals such as sodium silicate, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, sodium hypochlorite, liquid chloride, ferric chloride, and calcium chloride. As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding our portfolio to include value-added products derived from sand and quartz.

About

the Role

To support our expansion and ongoing operations, ACIC is establishing a technical centre in Riyadh. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to help develop this centre and contribute to research, analytical, and technical service activities. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of mineral processing and have industrial or research experience in related fields.

Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, focused on research and development in industrial minerals and inorganic chemicals. The Technical Centre Manager will play a key role in developing the research and analytical facility, conducting research, developing new products, and enhancing existing formulations and operational performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing research studies and analyzing data
  • Preparing technical reports
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Ensuring all research and development activities comply with safety and quality standards
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree, preferably a PhD, in Chemical, Materials, Metallurgical, or Mineral Processing Engineering
  • Experience in research and quality assurance
  • Proven expertise in research and development (R&D)
  • Strong analytical and laboratory skills
  • Effective communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards
  • Knowledge of industrial minerals and inorganic chemicals is an advantage
