Research Officer

To support the design, implementation, and analysis of research and evaluation activities that inform evidence-based decision-making and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of programs and experiences.

• Support with qualitative analysis and focus groups, including the development of research instruments, data analysis, and reporting.
• Support ILMI departments in guiding research processes related to exhibitions, learning, programs, and marketing
• Build and maintain close liaisons with partner agencies to ensure the quality and relevance of research, audience interviews, and focus groups.
• Research original content and audience insights to effectively inform the development of ILMI’s programs and visitors’ experience.
• Develop regular reports on audience feedback, comments, and engagements and propose improvement initiatives
• Maintain and update the research database and repository to ensure accurate, accessible, and up-to-date documentation of studies and findings.
• Follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions and ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
• Promote the implementation and adherence to relevant policies, processes, and operating procedures to others.

• Bachelor’s degree in market research, economics, psychology, business administration, or equivalent is required
• Master’s degree in market research or an equivalent is preferred
• Experience
• 2 to 4 years of experience in educational program management, preferably in a science or museum setting
