The Shift Supervisor leads day-to-day activities during assigned shifts to ensure team members consistently meet required operational and service standards. The role combines team supervision, guest service, sales support, cash procedures, food safety, and hands‑on floor leadership to maintain efficient restaurant operations.

• - Lead by example and treat every team member and guest with respect.
• - Respond immediately to operational or employee issues requiring attention during the shift.
• - Provide clear and ongoing direction to team members.
• - Maintain a positive work environment and motivate employees to achieve shift goals.
• - Train, orient, and monitor new team members.
• - Report positive and negative employee performance observations to the Store Manager.
• - Help maintain appropriate team coverage throughout operating hours.
• - Work across different positions during busy periods to maintain service levels.

• - Escalate operational issues or problems to the immediate supervisor when required.

• - Follow established safe work practices and procedures.
• - Use required personal protective equipment and clothing.
• - Ensure employees follow health and safety requirements during the shift.
• - Report injuries, illnesses, accidents, unsafe conditions, and security incidents to the Store Manager or Area Manager.
• - Report any identified breach of health and safety policies or procedures.
• - Do not operate equipment or perform work in a manner that could endanger employees or guests.
• - Maintain required documentation for work‑related injuries and accidents.

• - Supervise store technical equipment and ensure it remains in working condition.
• - Count cash at the beginning of shifts to verify the till balance and availability of change.
• - Process cash, credit card, voucher, and automatic debit payments when required.
• - Issue receipts, refunds, and change accurately.
• - Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
