The Store Manager - Fashion Retail Operations will take full responsibility for commercial and operational performance within the assigned store. The role requires a strong balance of sales leadership, customer focus, team management, stock control, administration, merchandising, and security awareness. By setting clear targets, guiding staff, maintaining the right product availability, and ensuring consistent execution of brand standards, the Store Manager will directly influence revenue, customer retention, stock accuracy, and overall store profitability.

• Lead the retail team toward daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Brief staff regularly on commercial priorities, customer service expectations, and store performance.
• Apply practical and creative selling techniques to achieve or exceed sales objectives.
• Monitor store performance and take corrective action when targets are at risk.
• Ensure employees provide consistently high levels of customer service.
• Maintain current knowledge of products, fashion trends, seasonal collections, and brand direction.
• Use strong product awareness to anticipate customer needs and improve suggestive selling.
• Keep the retail team informed about new products and relevant fashion developments.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels to maximize sales opportunities.
• Manage stockroom organization and monitor inventory carefully to minimize stock loss.

• Manage daily staff rosters, leave schedules, attendance matters, and employee grievances.
• Allocate duties effectively to maintain suitable staffing throughout trading hours.
• Maintain visual merchandising according to established VM standards.
• Ensure displays, fixtures, products, and store presentation consistently reflect brand expectations.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to strengthen repeat purchasing and customer retention.
• Encourage staff to communicate loyalty benefits appropriately during customer interactions.
• Provide the Area Manager and Operations Manager with clear feedback regarding employees, product performance, and store matters.
• Supervise staff performance and provide practical coaching where improvement is required.
• Maintain strong security awareness across sales floors, stockrooms, cash areas, and operational spaces.
• Ensure employees understand their responsibility for protecting merchandise and company assets.
• Stay informed about other brands within the group to support relevant cross-brand and suggestive selling opportunities.
• Take full responsibility for end-to-end store operations.
• Maintain professional grooming and presentation suitable for a fashion retail environment.
• Support physical store duties, including extended periods on the sales floor and handling merchandise when required.

• Experience managing or supervising a retail store.
• Proven achievement against sales and KPI targets.
• Strong knowledge of fashion products and current retail trends.
• Ability to motivate and direct frontline sales teams.
• Experience with stockroom management and inventory loss prevention.
• Strong understanding of customer service and suggestive selling.
