The Sales Associate
- Retail Customer Experience will play a direct role in creating a positive shopping journey while contributing to store sales performance. The position combines customer engagement, product recommendations, loyalty promotion, merchandising, payment processing, stock awareness, and daily operational support. By applying strong product knowledge and the company 's GUEST selling approach, the Sales Associate will help convert customer interest into purchases while maintaining service quality.

Accurate transaction handling, attractive merchandise presentation, and consistent attention to loss prevention will also support efficient and secure store operations.

• Welcome customers professionally and assist them in selecting products that match their preferences and needs.
• Engage browsing customers proactively and help convert genuine interest into completed purchases.
• Follow the GUEST selling approach by greeting, understanding, explaining, selling, and thanking customers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage customer retention and repeat purchases.
• Maintain knowledge of the group 's brands to support relevant product recommendations and suggestive selling.
• Stay informed about current products, collections, features, availability, and promotions.
• Maintain a professional, presentable, and well-groomed appearance throughout each shift.
• Provide accurate product information to support confident customer purchasing decisions.
• Remain flexible to work extended hours during sales campaigns and high-demand trading periods.
• Support varied shifts and overtime according to business requirements.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and in accordance with approved store layout standards.
• Follow visual merchandising guidelines and maintain required presentation standards across assigned areas.
• Apply stock norms correctly for clearance and promotional merchandise.
• Maintain orderly merchandise displays and replenish products when required.
• Record inventory movements accurately for incoming and outgoing stock.
• Maintain relevant stock reports and support inventory control procedures.
• Operate the Point of Sale and billing counter efficiently.
• Balance money in the cash till at the beginning and end of assigned shifts.
• Process customer payments accurately through cash, credit cards, vouchers, and approved automatic debit methods.
• Issue receipts, refunds, change, and other transaction documentation correctly.
• Maintain continuous awareness of store security risks and suspicious activity.
• Follow established SOP and Loss Prevention Policies at all times.
• Protect merchandise and company assets by maintaining strong stock-loss awareness.
• Keep store sales figures and commercially sensitive information confidential.
• Support routine store maintenance and operational duties assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Assist with maintaining an organized and customer-ready sales floor throughout trading hours.
