Florist Assistant

Florist assistants work alongside florists in creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements for various occasions. They assist with selecting and purchasing flowers, preparing them for arrangements, and maintaining the overall appearance of the shop. This role requires a keen eye for design, creativity, and a passion for flowers.

• Assist with selecting and purchasing fresh flowers from suppliers
• Prepare flowers by removing thorns, trimming stems, and arranging them in vases or other containers
• Assist with creating floral arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday orders
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the flower shop
• Handle customer inquiries and orders in a friendly and professional manner
• Water plants and ensure they are well-maintained
• Assist with deliveries to customers or event venues

• Previous experience working in a flower shop or similar setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of different types of flowers and their care instructions
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Creativity and ability to think outside the box when creating arrangements
• Excellent customer service skills
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy buckets of water or plants
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in Arabic is required
