AboutThe Role
- Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses in line with corporate and ownership requirements.
- Manage cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and treasury controls.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Implement and monitor internal controls, audit processes, and financial policies to safeguard assets.
Work closely with department heads to support cost control, budgeting, and operational efficiency. - Oversee procurement processes, supplier contracts, and invoice approvals.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and corporate finance teams.
- Support pre-opening or seasonal ramp-up activities including system setup and financial procedures.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to hotel management to support decision-making.
- 5-8 years of finance experience in hospitality, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel accounting, financial reporting and cost control.
- Experience working with PMS, POS and accounting systems.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to work closely with operational teams in a hands-on hotel environment.
- Experience in pre-opening or seasonal hotels is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
