Position Overview Apparel Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations, strengthen customer service standards and contribute to sales performance in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position involves assisting the Store Manager in maintaining efficient and profitable store operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, brand standards and established retail procedures. The Assistant Store Manager will also support employee supervision, visual merchandising, store administration and customer loyalty initiatives.

The role requires strong retail product knowledge, effective team coordination and the ability to assume full responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.

Retail Sales and Customer Service

• Support the Store Manager in maximizing store sales and maintaining profitable retail operations.
• Ensure retail employees consistently deliver high standards of customer service.
• Guide and support sales staff in developing the skills required to meet customer expectations and improve sales performance.
• Maintain current knowledge of merchandise, new products, fashion trends and brand guidelines.
• Anticipate customer requirements and assist employees in providing appropriate product recommendations.
• Stay informed about the different brands within Apparel Group to support suggestive selling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Promote a customer-focused shopping environment that encourages satisfaction and repeat purchases.
• Ensure that store employees have the product knowledge and operational support needed to contribute effectively to sales objectives.

Store Operations and Management

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store activities in accordance with company operating standards.
• Support the implementation of established store procedures and operational guidelines.
• Ensure all employees comply with company policies, brand requirements and store operating procedures.
• Regularly review store administration and identify issues requiring corrective action.
• Maintain effective coordination of daily retail activities to support operational efficiency.
• Assume end-to-end responsibility for store operations during the Store Manager 's absence.
• Address operational requirements and maintain continuity of store activities when acting on behalf of the Store Manager.
• Support efficient store operations while maintaining established customer service and brand standards.

Employee Supervision and Administration

• Assist in supervising retail employees and maintaining consistent service performance.
• Manage daily staff rosters to support appropriate employee coverage.
• Coordinate employee leave requirements and address staff grievances within established company procedures.
• Provide guidance to employees on customer service expectations, product knowledge and operational responsibilities.
• Identify employee performance concerns and communicate relevant observations to the Store Manager.
• Support effective teamwork and professional conduct among retail employees.
• Provide feedback to the Store Manager and Area Manager regarding employee performance and operational matters.

Visual Merchandising and Brand Presentation

• Maintain visual merchandising standards in accordance with approved brand guidelines.
• Ensure merchandise displays remain consistent with established store presentation requirements.
• Monitor the sales floor to identify visual merchandising issues requiring attention.
• Support the implementation of product presentation standards that enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Maintain awareness of current fashion trends and product developments relevant to the store.

Customer Loyalty and Repeat Sales

• Actively promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to customers.
