As we expand across the GCC, we're looking for high-impact leaders to help us scale our sales organization and customer reach.
Role SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) with at least 1-2 years of experience in SaaS or technology sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities by identifying, prospecting, and engaging potential clients. This role requires a proactive and ambitious individual who can effectively communicate Penny's value proposition, spark initial interest, and book discovery meetings that move prospects into the sales pipeline.
Responsibilities- Research and prospect target accounts across the GCC market to generate new leads.
- Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities against ICP (Ideal Customer Profile), and determine fit to book discovery meetings for the sales team.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation targets.
- Conduct outreach via calls, emails, Linked In, and other channels to engage decision-makers.
- Clearly communicate Penny's value proposition to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and the sales leadership team to execute go-to-market strategies.
- Work with Marketing to design and run outbound campaigns (e.g. sequences by industry or role).
- Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities, lead status, and pipeline health using CRM tools.
- Stay informed about procurement technology trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.
- Represent Penny at industry events and networking opportunities when required.
- 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales or sales development, preferably in SaaS or technology solutions.
- Proven track record of pipeline generation through cold outreach (calls, emails, Linked In) and consistently meeting or exceeding meeting-booked targets.
- Comfortable with high-volume prospecting and building pipeline independently.
- Strong ability to research, segment, and target accounts across industries.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with CRM & prospecting tools (Hub Spot, Salesforce, Apollo, Lusha, Sales Navigator etc.).
- Experience working in the GCC market is highly desirable.
- Arabic fluency and business-level English.
- Based in Riyadh, with willingness to travel within the GCC.
- Experience prospecting or selling procurement or enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Connections or network in the procurement, construction, or supply chain sectors.
- Work with a passionate, high-performing team on a mission to disrupt procurement.
- ESOP will be offered in the form of shares, with details to be shared during the offer stage of the hiring process.
- Working through a new Hybrid proposal.
