Job Summary

The Regional Channel Sales Engineer – LV & MV is responsible for developing and executing the channel and OEM sales strategy across the region. The role covers distribution partners, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) accounts, and Partner Businesses, with a strong focus on Promotion of LV & MV products, Private Brands, and long-term market development. Acting as both a Channel Sales Engineer and OEM Sales Engineer, this position ensures sustainable sales growth, increased market share, and high customer satisfaction for the LV & MV portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities / What You Will Do 1. Regional Channel & Market Strategy
  • Develop and implement the regional LV & MV channel strategy, covering distributors, panel builders, and OEM customers.
  • Analyze the Market potential, installed base, competitive landscape, and coverage gaps for LV & MV products.
  • Define annual LV & MV sales and margin targets for channel partners and OEM accounts.
  • Recommend improvements to channel structure, OEM coverage, and partner mix to optimize regional performance.
2. OEM & Partner Business Development
  • Identify, qualify, and onboard Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers and Partner Businesses (e.g., panel builders, system integrators, assemblers).
  • Develop joint business plans with key OEMs and partners to drive LV & MV volume, specification, and Private Brands opportunities.
  • Act as the primary OEM Sales Engineer, managing technical and commercial relationships with strategic OEM accounts.
  • Negotiate and manage OEM commercial agreements, price structures, and long-term supply arrangements.
  • Manage a portfolio of distributors and channel partners, ensuring effective Promotion of LV & MV products, solutions, and Private Brands.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to track sales performance, pipeline, and action plans.
  • Support partners in marketing and Promotion activities (campaigns, seminars, exhibitions, digital content) to increase brand visibility and market penetration.
  • Ensure distributors and partners maintain appropriate stock levels, product mix, and service capabilities.
4. Technical Support & Application Engineering (LV & MV)
  • Provide technical support on LV & MV products and systems (e.g., switch gear, breakers, panels, protection and control) to distributors, OEMs, and Partner Businesses.
  • Deliver technical and commercial training to partner sales and technical teams to enhance their LV & MV capabilities.
  • Support solution design, product selection, and basic coordination / protection studies for LV & MV projects.
  • Coordinate with the internal technical support team for complex applications, approvals, and customer escalations.
5. Sales Growth & Opportunity Management
  • Work with distributors and OEMs to identify and develop opportunities in target segments (utilities, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, oil & gas, etc.).
  • Support specification, offer preparation, and value engineering for key LV & MV projects across the Market.
  • Monitor sales KPIs (volume, margin, hit rate, forecast accuracy) and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Track Market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and technology developments in LV & MV.
  • Provide structured feedback to Product Management and Marketing on product gaps, new requirements, and potential Private Brands or co‑branding opportunities.
  • Support the introduction and Promotion of new LV & MV products, digital solutions, and services through channel and OEM partners.
