Sales Manager – ENGIE Solutions Middle East

Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Based in KSA with regional travel as required

Our solutions support industrial, enterprise, and critical infrastructure clients in their digital transformation journeys, combining advanced technologies with high service reliability. We also leverage our affiliate companies’ Power Solutions and Facilities Management services.

Role Overview: We are looking for a driven and dynamic Sales Manager to join our commercial team. The role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving sales of our portfolio, and building strong, long‑term relationships with customers and channel partners across key industries such as data centers, telecom, manufacturing, energy, utilities, transportation, and critical infrastructure. The candidate will work closely with technical, pre‑sales, and delivery teams as well as our technology partners to position our full portfolio and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for Managed Services, IIoT, IT/OT Security, and Edge Cloud solutions.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective clients across multiple verticals.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, business drivers, and pain points.
  • Conduct client presentations, solution pitches, and lead commercial negotiations.
Account Management
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
  • Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities for additional services.
  • Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for client accounts.
  • Ensure client satisfaction, acting as a bridge between customer needs and internal teams.
  • Work closely with technical team, solution architects, technology partners and delivery teams to design optimal solutions for customers.
  • Provide customer feedback to influence service roadmap and offerings.
  • Prepare proposals and responses to tenders.
Reporting & Forecasting
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM records.
  • Achieve assigned sales quotas and revenue targets.
Travel
  • Regular travel across the MENA region for client meetings, site visits, and industry events (approximately 40%–60%).
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 6–8 years of experience in sales or account management roles in Data Center, Managed Services, ICT, Cloud, or Security sectors.
  • Domain Knowledge: Exposure to Data Centers (Grey and White space), IIoT, OT Security, Edge Cloud, Managed ICT Services, or Industrial Digital Transformation.

    Skills:

    Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and deal‑closing capabilities.
  • Industry Exposure: Prior experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, oil & gas, utilities, or critical infrastructure sectors is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Collaboration: Strong team player, able to work cross‑functionally with technical and delivery teams.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel across the region as required.
