Job Purpose:

The Senior Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the growth and market presence of assigned products through effective product promotion, customer engagement, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration. The role serves as a key link between healthcare professionals and internal teams by providing product knowledge, delivering product presentations and training, supporting marketing initiatives, and contributing to the achievement of sales and business objectives while ensuring compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote assigned products to healthcare professionals by effectively communicating product features, benefits, and clinical information.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, and other key customers to support business growth.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, and educational activities to increase product awareness and utilization.
  • Support the achievement of assigned sales and business targets through effective territory and customer management.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of assigned products, therapeutic areas, clinical data, and market developments.
  • Provide accurate product information and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Gather and share market intelligence, customer feedback, competitor activities, and market trends to support business decisions and product strategies.
  • Support product launch activities and marketing initiatives by coordinating with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Health Affairs, Sales, and other departments to ensure consistent product communication and execution of business plans.
  • Deliver product training and educational sessions for internal teams and customers as needed.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, customer engagements, market observations, and business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, applicable healthcare regulations, and industry guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior Product Specialists when required.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Sciences or other relevant Health Sciences disciplines.

3-5 years of experience in product promotion, sales, or business development within the wound care, Ostomy and Oncology products.

Skills:
  • Product knowledge and clinical application of assigned products.
  • Understanding of healthcare market dynamics and competitor activities.
  • Sales planning and territory management.
  • Market analysis and interpretation of customer insights.
  • Product presentation and training delivery skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Good understanding of healthcare compliance requirements and industry regulations.
