CMTC is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer – Waterproofing & Construction Chemicals to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing business opportunities, building relationships with contractors, consultants and clients, and promoting CMTC’s specialized waterproofing and construction chemical solutions across projects in the Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Saudi construction market.
- Promote waterproofing systems, construction chemicals and related specialized solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, developers and project stakeholders.
- Follow up on ongoing and upcoming projects and identify opportunities from the early tender/specification stage.
- Conduct regular client and project-site visits to understand technical requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations and presentations.
- Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure proposed systems meet project specifications and client requirements.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, negotiations and orders through to closing.
- Support product/system approvals with consultants and clients when required.
- Monitor market activity, competitors, pricing and upcoming projects.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the expansion of CMTC’s business in Saudi Arabia.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in Saudi Arabia within waterproofing, construction chemicals, or specialized construction materials.
- Strong technical knowledge of waterproofing systems and their applications.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi construction market and established relationships with contractors, consultants and developers.
- Demonstrated experience in project-based technical sales, from lead generation and specification through negotiation and closing.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand drawings, specifications, BOQs and technical requirements.
- Good command of English;
Arabic is an advantage. - Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
