Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Riyadh. You will lead our sales team and grow our logistics and freight forwarding business across Saudi Arabia.

What will your day at GAC look like?

As Sales Manager, you will lead and develop the sales team and grow our business across Saudi Arabia. You will expand our customer base, strengthen relationships with key customers, and deliver sustainable revenue and gross profit growth across our logistics and freight forwarding services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the sales team, set clear targets, and hold team members accountable for their performance.

Secure new business and develop existing customer relationships across Saudi Arabia.

Identify, pursue, and secure opportunities in freight forwarding, project logistics, and integrated logistics services.

Manage commercial activities for project cargo, breakbulk, heavy lift and out-of-gauge shipments in collaboration with operational teams.

Prepare and manage requests for quotation, tenders, pricing proposals, customer presentations, and contract negotiations.

Manage the sales pipeline, prepare account plans, and provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports.

Ensure compliance with company policies, approval processes, credit requirements and operational procedures.

Deliver revenue and gross profit targets to drive sustainable business growth.

What are we looking for?

Candidate Requirement

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or a related discipline.

Experience:

Five to ten years of sales experience in logistics and freight forwarding.

At least three years of experience leading or managing a sales team.

A strong record of securing new business and developing key customer accounts in Saudi Arabia.

Experience in a multinational organization is highly preferred.

Technical & Industry Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, road transportation, warehousing, and integrated logistics services.

Experience handling project cargo, breakbulk, heavy lift and out-of-gauge shipments.

Good understanding of Saudi customs clearance processes, import/export documentation, bonded cargo and transit movements.

Experience serving customers within oil & gas, energy, EPC, construction, industrial and manufacturing sectors is an advantage.

Proven experience achieving revenue and gross profit targets.

Strong expertise in tender management, RFQs, pricing proposals and commercial negotiations.

Excellent communication and presentation skills in Arabic and English.

Strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, and ability to build customer relationships.

Strong organization, planning, forecasting, and reporting skills.

Ability to work effectively in a structured multinational organization.
