The Physical Security Engineer – Data Centre Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh. The role involves overseeing the physical security of data center facilities, managing cabling and infrastructure, and ensuring optimal operation of data center systems. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting and addressing technical issues, providing technical support, and maintaining compliance with operational standards. Collaboration with other teams to guarantee data center safety and efficiency is an essential part of this role.

• Monitor and maintain physical security systems including CCTV, access control systems, alarms, badge readers, and security infrastructure
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections across data halls, office spaces, storage rooms, and restricted areas
• Respond to security incidents, operational escalations, and safety‑related concerns in accordance with established procedures
• Coordinate closely with Security Operations Centre (SOC), Facilities teams, vendors, and regional security stakeholders
• Support installation, maintenance, and testing activities related to security systems and devices
• Escort contractors and vendors within secured environments while ensuring compliance with operational protocols
• Maintain accurate incident reports, operational logs, and daily documentation
• Support audit activities, media destruction exercises, and compliance‑related initiatives

• Prior experience within security operations, data centre environments, critical infrastructure, or facilities security
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control platforms, and physical security operations
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to adhere to strict operational and security procedures
• Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills
• Comfortable working within a 24/7 shift‑based operational environment
• Proficiency in standard reporting and collaboration tools
