CCTV​/Security Systems Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain CCTV and security systems with high reliability.
• Oversee PA and Planning systems within RTPI.
• Manage AFC and Operator ITS interfaces, coordinating with contractors.
• Administer all systems and interfaces, discuss fault reports and customer complaints with contractors.
• Test and release new software in the Test & Development center, including ITS interfaces.
• Support Contract Administration Manager and Employer with technical requirements, specifications (SDS), and technical variations.
• Provide input on CCTV and security system architecture.
• Monitor live CCTV feeds and system alarms, escalates incidents as required.
• Support Network Operations Center (NOC) daily checks.
• Prepare compliance logs for safety and security agencies.

• Minimum of 5 years’ technical experience in CCTV and security system operation and maintenance.
• Degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, RTPI, PA systems, ITS interfaces, and system administration.
• Experience with testing, releasing software, and managing system interfaces.
• Familiarity with technical specifications (SDS), variations, and contract enforcement.
• Ability to evaluate system performance and resolve technical issues.
• Strong ability to liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of safety and security compliance standards.
