The role of the security guard within the facility

The primary role of a security guard is to protect property and maintain order within work sites. Daily tasks include:

• Conducting continuous patrols and monitoring the facility to protect property from theft or vandalism.
• Monitoring entry and exit points and verifying the identity of visitors and suppliers.
• Maintaining order within the facility and moving between employees and visitors to ensure a safe environment.
• Rapid response to alarms and incidents, and handling emergencies according to established procedures.
• Cooperate with the relevant authorities such as the police, ambulance, or fire department when necessary.
• Compliance with occupational safety, health and environmental policies within the workplace.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Monitoring and managing entry and exit operations, and issuing entry permits.
• Conducting inspection tours of the gates, doors, and windows.
• Recording visitor and supplier data and verifying their identities.
• Rapid response to all emergency events.
• Implementing security instructions and posting regulations within the site.
• Report any unusual observations or events to management.

Required qualifications

• The minimum requirement is intermediate level.
• Proficiency in Arabic – Advanced level.
