Role PurposeStudent Success Lead
Design and operate the system that keeps students on track s role involves building frameworks, segments, and action triggers that deliver the right intervention to the right student at the right moment—systematically and not on a case‑by‑case basis.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain the student segmentation system
- Define behavioural and performance dimensions such as recency of engagement, frequency of practice, and mastery signals.
- Translate these dimensions into a maintainable tagging system that updates automatically as student behaviour changes.
- Define action playbooks per segment
- For each segment, specify the intended action, owner, channel, and cadence.
- Ensure playbooks run automatically whenever criteria are met.
- Collaborate with Communication & Reporting to deliver timely messages and with Student Journey to surface upstream issues for high‑risk segments.
- Measure effectiveness
- Track segment movement over time to evaluate conversions from at‑risk to on‑track states.
- Run structured tests on interventions—varying action, timing, or channel—and measure outcomes.
- Iterate playbooks based on findings to improve the system seasonally.
- Own the on‑track view
- Maintain the operational view of student health across programs.
- Flag systematic patterns such as whole cohorts drifting away, versus isolated issues.
- At least 2 years of experience in growth, lifecycle/CRM, operations, or data‑driven customer success where you segmented a user population and designed differentiated actions.
- Comfortable working with data—building or reading cohort analyses, defining tagging criteria, and tracking segment migration.
- Experience running A/B tests or structured experiments on interventions, not merely reporting outcomes.
