Murex Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Lead the technical architecture and development of the Murex platform.
• Design and oversee MxML, Mx3 configuration, and integrations with TMS, payment hubs, and core banking systems.
• Optimize real‑time and EOD batch processing, automation, and performance.

Delivery & Automation

• Drive technical delivery across Front‑to‑Back‑to‑Risk (IRD, FXMM, Fixed Income, Commodities).
• Implement Dev Ops, Onyx/MxTest, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Manage environments, releases, and deployment processes.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor Murex developers and engineers.
• Establish engineering standards, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with business, risk, and external partners.

Production Support

• Lead resolution of critical production issues.
• Support Oracle/Sybase, UNIX/Linux, Shell/Perl scripting, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.

• 8–10+ years of hands‑on Murex MX3 experience.
• Strong expertise in MxML Exchange, Datamart, Workflows, and Market Data (MDCS).
• Experience with Oracle/SQL Server/Sybase, UNIX/Linux, Shell scripting, Kafka, automation, and batch architecture.
• 3+ years in a Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Platform Architect role.
• Experience in Agile, PMO, and financial institutions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Murex certifications and Middle East/KSA banking experience are advantageous.
