Job Summary
Design, build, and operate production-grade AI and LLM-powered systems for a large enterprise organization. Focus on intelligent agents, RAG pipelines, model serving, prompt engineering, and AI safety within a secure and governed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build AI/LLM services, APIs, and agents using Lang Chain/Llama Index or custom orchestration.
- Design and optimize RAG pipelines with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Milvus, etc.).
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks, agent workflows, and LLM evaluation pipelines.
- Deploy and scale models using Kubernetes, Docker, and serving tools such as vLLM, TGI, or Triton.
- Implement AI guardrails, safety controls, and output validation.
- Maintain AI observability, logging, monitoring, and model lifecycle management.
- Partner with data scientists, ML engineers, and business teams to product ionize AI use cases.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy, and internal AI governance policies.
- Mentor engineers and define AI engineering standards and reusable components.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field.
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in production AI/LLM systems.
- Strong Python; experience with Go, Java, or C# is a plus.
- Hands-on with LLM APIs and open-source models (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Llama, Mistral, etc.).
- Experience with vector databases, embeddings, RAG, and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms, and model-serving frameworks.
- Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, and model evaluation practices.
- Financial services or regulated-industry experience is preferred.
