Senior Manager - Development Business Solutions

The Senior Manager – Development Business Solutions Design & Delivery drives the design, configuration, and execution of bespoke technology solutions, specialized applications, and end-to-end process automations across the entire property development life cycle.

This role serves as a key technical innovator at the intersection of enterprise software, custom development, and real estate operations—creating tailored solutions for unique mega-project requirements across feasibility, master planning, design, logistics, QHSEW, construction management, asset development, and real estate operations.

You will orchestrate custom software delivery, automate complex cross-functional workflows, ensure inter-system consistency, and provide transparent tracking across multiple property development domains.

Responsibilities:

• Custom & Tailored Solutions:
  Lead the design, prototyping, and end-to-end delivery of bespoke software applications, specialized web tools, and domain-specific modules designed to address unique operational requirements not covered by off-the-shelf software.
• Property Lifecycle Coverage:
  Build and deploy tailored digital tools supporting feasibility, master planning, design, logistics, QHSEW, construction management, asset development, and real estate operations.
• Domain Integration:
  Ensure custom-built applications integrate smoothly with core enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, BIM, GIS, Cost Management, and Project Controls) for unified data exchange.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with domain experts in Master Planning, Engineering, Construction, and Finance to translate complex operational needs into technical specifications for custom solutions.
• End-to-End Automation:
  Identify manual bottlenecks across planning, engineering, and finance workflows, automated engineering pipelines to streamline approvals, data ingestion, and status synchronization.
• Cross-Domain Automation:
  Connect siloed processes between commercial, engineering, and finance teams to eliminate dual entry, reduce human error, and accelerate delivery timelines.
• Data Integrity & Consistency:
  Establish automated data quality checks, validation scripts, and integration protocols to ensure a single, consistent source of truth across all platforms.
• Deliver vendor execution activities by monitoring performance against agreed service levels and delivery expectations.
• Execute engagement with vendors to address incidents, defects, and enhancement requirements impacting portfolios.
• Maintain alignment with stakeholders to ensure consistent application performance.
• Execute application activities in line with approved governance frameworks, controls, and documentation standards.
• Deliver evidence and inputs for audits, reviews, and assurance activities related to delivered applications.
• Deliver improvements to enhance application effectiveness and user experience.
• Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are monitored and achieved during the year.
• Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the reporting manager and working towards bridging the gaps through various means which go beyond just training.
• Understands the competencies relevant to his/her role and works towards displaying as well as developing these effectively.
• Keeps abreast of relevant professional/industry developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional networks.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, digital solution design, and systems delivery, with 5+ years in a leadership role
