ServiceNow UI​/UX Developer

Salt is partnering with a leading global technology consultancy seeking an experienced Service Now UI/UX Developer to deliver modern, intuitive and highly customised user experiences across the Service Now platform.

This position requires a combination of strong hands-on Service Now development expertise, UI/UX design capabilities and the ability to work directly with enterprise customers.

The successful candidate will play a key role in translating complex business requirements, user journeys and corporate branding into scalable, user-friendly Service Now experiences.

• Design, develop and customise user interfaces using Service Now UI Builder and Now Experience UI Framework.
• Build and maintain custom pages, widgets and reusable components within Service Now Service Portal.
• Develop and enhance Employee Center and Employee Center Pro experiences.
• Translate wireframes, Figma designs and customer branding guidelines into functional Service Now interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with Service Now Architects, UX designers, business analysts and customer stakeholders.
• Ensure development follows Service Now best practices for performance, maintainability and upgradeability.
• Support UI testing, troubleshooting and continuous platform improvements.
• 8–10+ years of relevant technology experience, including significant hands-on Service Now UI/UX development.
• Strong expertise in Service Now UI Builder and Now Experience UI Framework.
• Experience developing responsive and reusable UI components.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles, wire framing, prototyping and interaction design.
• Proficiency with Figma or equivalent design tools.
• Understanding of REST APIs and integration-driven UI experiences.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing capabilities.
• Service Now Configurable Work spaces.
• Experience across ITSM, CSM, HRSD or ITOM.
• Enterprise design systems and component libraries.
• Large-scale enterprise Service Now transformation programmes.
